Changes in management of Latvian poultry companies.
In September, Andrius Pranckevičius will become the chairman of the board of poultry companies AS Putnu Fabrika Ķekava and SIA Lielzeltiņi. Changes to the management of the companies are a result of decision of the current chairman of the companies Andris Vilcmeiers to accept new professional challenges in another company. Continuing the targeted growth, both poultry companies will proceed to work actively on the product portfolio expansion with new and innovative products and new export markets in the Baltic States, the Scandinavian countries and Western Europe, offering the highest quality production.
Andrius Pranckevičius has graduated several business management programs in Harvard Business School, is member of the board of AB Linas Agro Group and works in the company for more than 15 years.
“Putnu Fabrika Ķekava and Lielzeltiņi have strengthened their positions not only in Latvia but also in the Baltics over the last years. We will continue to invest in business growth, focusing on new and competitive product development and foreign markets. In the upcoming years we plan to invest several tens of millions of euros in the development of the companies,” says Andrius Pranckevičius.
A. Pranckevičius will enter the position of chairman of the board in SIA Lielzeltiņi as from September 7 and in AS Putnu Fabrika Ķekava – after the general meeting of shareholders of the company takes place.
This summer AB Linas Agro Group started reforms in Latvian poultry farms in order to increase the competitiveness of enterprise – modernizing production process and merging of some departments of the companies.
