Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Abstract

The aim of the policy: to determine the general trends and provisions of corporate social responsibility of AB Linas Agro Group and its subsidiaries (hereinafter – the Group) for creating socially responsible business culture and practice within the Group.

The scope of application: AB Linas Agro Group and its subsidiaries.

The Group strives to become an entity attractive for investment, to increase the value of shares consistently, to be the driving force of the development of agriculture in the Baltic States and to become the preferred employer in the field of agribusiness in the Baltic States. Guided by its vision, mission, values and strategic goals, the Group implements its social responsibility through targeted activities in the market and social projects.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Policy of the Group (hereinafter – CSRP) provides that the employees of the Group shall communicate and coordinate interests with various stakeholders, i.e., customers, employees, business partners, competitors, shareholders, governments, regulatory authorities and local communities. CSRP is based on the following principles: ensuring the rights, occupational safety and health of the employees, respect for human rights and privacy, ethical and transparent business activities, responsibility for the protection of environment, assuring human and animal welfare, anti-corruption and sustainable relations with the partners and society. It consists of the individual policies and codes of behaviour:

2. Non-Discrimination Policy;
3. Human Rights, Child and Forced Labour Policy;
4. Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy;
5. Animal Welfare Policy;
6. Environmental Protection Policy;
7. Personal Data Protection Policy;
8. Code of Business Ethics;
9. Partner Code of Ethics.
